Boathouse to Bewdley

bewdleyThis’ll test us. Covering approximately 50 miles of the Severn in a day. 2 boats pushing off from the showground at 6am Sat Jan 11th 2014. Enjoying the sites of Ironbridge, Bridgenorth and Bewdley, we’ll be forced to make use of one or two of the riverside refreshments areas. Having encountered obstacles such at the Shrewsbury Weir, the Jackfield Rapids and the Ship Inn, we’ll lift the boats out at Bewdley Rowing Club sometime in the early evening where the transport will be waiting to take the crews and boats back to the showground.
