5K River Severn Sprint

A 5K time trial sprint from the Pumphouse to Kingsland Bridge. Then moor up at the Pengwern pontoon for bacon butties and tea. There are entries from Ironbridge and Bridgenorth boat clubs, all in fine 4 and 8 boats. A fantastic opportunity to mingle with our fellow Shropshire rowers, and to introduce the concept of Celtic and Pembroke longboats.

Details will be confirmed ahead of the event, but we will start the time trial at the Pumphouse at 9.00 sharp, so a probable 7.45/8am start on the water for a slow warm up.
