The Great River Race again runs 22 miles upstream on the Thames, from the Millwall Slipway opposite the Docklands Sailing Centre, Westferry Road E14 3QS to Ham, Richmond. See the sights of London, fighting it out against over 300 other fixed seat rowing boats. Quite simply a highlight of the SARC calendar, not to be missed.
All in cost of £160 includes camping, breakfast, BBQ, bus to the race start from Ham campsite, towage for the boats and contribution to the towers’ diesel (NB beer is extra!)
Book early to avoid disappointment (a £30 booking fee is required which is non refundable), all bookings and payments in full must be received by Friday 1st May to meet the early bird booking deadline. Book your place as usual here and then send your balance of £130 payment with your name/GRR as reference to the SARC bank account.
Please note: any additional bookings for camping etc. for family and friends can be made directly (by you!) via the GRR website…..http://www.greatriverrace.co.uk/ We will also need to identify one passenger per boat (usually children of participating rowers) so please let me know if you would like to nominate someone – cost £60 per passenger all inc.
