The Great River Race runs 21.6 miles upstream on the Thames, from the Millwall Slipway opposite the Docklands Sailing Centre, Westferry Road E14 3QS to Ham, Richmond. See the sights of London, fighting it out against over 300 other fixed seat rowing boats. Quite simply a highlight of the SARC calendar, not to be missed.
If we carry out Early Bird booking by 27th April, we should be able to maintain an all in cost of £200 includes camping, breakfast, BBQ, bus to the race start from Ham campsite, towage for the boats and contribution to the towers’ diesel (NB beer is extra!)
Book early to avoid disappointment, we have decided to ask you to pay the full amount in one go as it has proven to be a very hard job to collect payment in the past. The fee has gone up to cover an increase in the event charges and also to cover the cost of the passengers as the committee felt it was not fair to ask people to pay for this job. You can book a passenger as well now if you have a willing person.
