Following the success of the 2018 event we are planning the race format on Saturday March 30th 2019 for next years event.
Now nick named “The North Pole Challenge” the race is over two time trial legs. Times will be combined to determine overall class winners.
First leg is an upstream race from Pengwern Boat Club in the centre of Shrewsbury to The North Pole. Then turn downstream for a short rest row giving way to oncoming traffic. Upon reaching Doctors one, start the second leg racing downstream to finish back at the Pengwern
Breakfast grub & beverages available during the morning. Race food will be served mid afternoon onwards & The bar will be open all afternoon & into the evening.
